Sony has confirmed in the official PlayStation podcast that the catalog of outgoing PS5 games will be huge, although it does not detail specific titles.

PS5 will feature the “largest” catalog of outgoing games in PlayStation history. Eric Lempel, head of the company’s marketing department, has stated in the latest episode of the official PlayStation podcast that the lineup of console launch titles makes them feel lucky.

“This is by far the largest lineup we’ve had in all of PlayStation history,” he comments on the show. “We are fortunate to have such a number of beloved titles and characters that people have grown up with over the years,” he adds. To highlight, titles that we could see in the presentation of PS5 games this past Thursday: Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart, Gran Turismo 7, Demon’s Souls or Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales, to name iconic names; u Horizon: Forbidden West, among the most modern intellectual property successes.

PS5: release catalog yet to be known

“I’m amazed at how well our studios are handling the current release deadlines. Today, you have been able to see large well-established franchises that people have known for years, such as Gran Turismo or Ratchet and Clank ”, he adds, without confirming at any time that both deliveries will see the launching light with PS5.
