Pokémon GO - Let's Go! | Date and details of the Bug-type Pokémon event

Dweeble variocoloy and many more will be seen during the event. In addition, Pinsir is confirmed to temporarily break into the raids.

The Pokémon Company has released all the details of the long-awaited event! in Pokémon GO, which is back one more year with news and bug Pokémon that we do not usually capture so often. To highlight, Dweeble variocolor will debut in the iOS and Android game while Pinsir will be one of the main protagonists in the three-star raids.

As always, we detail the dates first. The event will start on Friday, June 26, 2020 at 5:00 p.m. and end on Wednesday, July 1, 2020 at 10:00 p.m. local time. During the event, Bug-type Pokémon, such as Scyther, Venipede and Dwebble, will be more frequent in the wild. We will also be able to see them more frequently when hatching 5 km Eggs, in exclusive field research tasks of the event and in raids. There will be x2 in PX per capture

Dwebble variocolor is one of the incentives of the event, but as always it will take a lot of luck to find it. It is also confirmed that Incense will attract more Bug-type Pokémon and that some Bug-type Pokémon will be more frequent than others, depending on the day we use incenses:

  • From Friday, June 26 at 8:00 a.m. to Saturday, June 27 at 11:59 p.m. local time, Incense will most often attract Nincada.
  • From Sunday June 28 at 00:00 to Monday June 29 at 23:59 local time, Incense will most often attract Wurmple.
  • From Tuesday, June 30 at 00:00 to Wednesday, July 1 at 22:00 local time, Incense will more frequently attract Scyther.

And we ended up with Pinsir on the raids. The Pokémon, also of the Bug type, will be available on Sunday, June 28, 2020 from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. local time on the three-star raids with Pinsir. You can participate from home thanks to the remote raid passes. We can also buy a lot for 1 Pokécurrency with three remote raid passes.
