Hello Games accidentally released a trailer for ‘No Man’s Sky’ overnight, which revealed a future update.
While the trailer is already offline again, it at least revealed that EXO Mechs will soon be available in the exploration adventure. In any case, the brief description of it said:
“Safely traverse and explore the planet surfaces from extreme conditions in your very own ‘Mech in this latest No Man’s Sky Update.”
It can be assumed that Hello Games will officially present the update shortly. Until then, there is at least a screenshot that comes from the trailer and shows the EXO Mech.

Update: Patch 2.40 is now available, which adds the Exo Mechs. It says:
“The Minotaur Exocraft is a unique new Exocraft / Suit hybrid and offers another way to explore planets. This mechanical walker protects its pilot from hostile alien atmospheres and offers immunity to dangers such as radioactivity and extreme temperatures. However, its special feature is freedom of movement. The Minotaur’s powerful jetpack enables it to fly powerfully through the air and land on the site with a satisfactory slide. We think it’s a lot of fun to stomp around, especially in PlayStation VR. ”
