A generation leap like from the PS4 to the PlayStation 5 does not only stand for better graphics or one or two new features. In the future, console gaming will also be defined by aspects such as the overall experience.
On this point, developer Remedy (Control) believes Sony will make a significant leap, as can be read in the current edition of the OPM. In it, Communications Director Thomas Puha said that the overall experience on the PS5 will reach a whole new level and how consoles are perceived. According to Puha, it has never been easier for developers to create such experiences.
“We tend to forget that it’s not just about getting better graphics in games with a new console, but that overall experience of using and playing on the console is getting a lot better overall. The PlayStation 5 is about creating a really smooth and fast experience and a hardware base that is easy for us developers to use. This is great because it allows us to use hardware performance faster. ”
The PS5 will be available later this year according to current plans.
