The Lord of the Rings card game joins Xbox Game Pass

The Lord of the Rings: Adventure Card Game is a non-competitive title that focuses on cooperative and single player campaigns.

New surprise for Xbox Game Pass users … on console. Through the networks, Microsoft has announced the arrival of the card game of The Lord of the Rings to the subscription service. A title that, in fact, is launching, as it was released this week on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch after doing the same on Steam last August, where the general reviews are "mostly positive."

Set in the universe of J.R.R. Tolkien, is not a competitive card game but focused on the story mode, and can be completed alone from beginning to end. It also has a cooperative way to fight with a friend against Orcs, Nazgul and other creatures of Middle-earth. Account of three campaigns (one of them as a tutorial) with original stories (does not follow the plots of books and movies) and, if we are left wanting more, we can acquire an extra expansion separately.

Xbox Game Pass games for November

The rest of the games that will be added to the service this month will be announced during the London X019, an event organized by Microsoft as the "annual worldwide Xbox celebration". It will take place from November 14 to 16, 2019 and can be followed by streaming through a special Mixer coverage. It is the second edition of the event, but as spectacular as last year, fasten your seatbelts. Last year the X018 took place in Mexico and there were announced up to 17 more games for Xbox Game Pass among which were PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds, Hellblade: Senua's Sacrifice, Ori and the Blind Forest and Crackdown 3. Until then we remind you that in the last 7 more games have been added, one of which comes out precisely today November 7: Subnautica.
