Nuclear Throne and Ruiner, now available for free at Epic Games Store

The Fortnite creators' store offers new video games every Thursday, which are added to the library permanently: next, The Messenger.

On a gifted horse, do not look at the tooth. Just make a free account in Epic Games Store to receive, every Thursday, new video games without investing a single euro. The player is asked for only one thing: to redeem it manually. True to their weekly appointment, the Epic store has added the two promised games. From November 7 to 14 of the same month, all users will have access to Nuclear Throne and Ruiner.

From now on, these two titles replace the previous two, Soma and Costume Quest. These are two very different proposals. On the one hand, Nuclear Throne is a fast-paced roguelike game developed by Vlambeer, the studio founded by Rami Ismail and Jan Willen Nijman. The work, available on several platforms (PC, PS4 and Nintendo Switch), sports a very particular 2D design and offers the usual difficulty of this kind of games. On the other hand, Ruiner has been designed as an action game with futuristic aesthetics, zenith development. It was developed by Reikon Games and was published by Devolver Digital, an editor specialized in independent video games.

A ninja in danger: The Messenger

Once the deadline (November 14) is completed, Epic Games will publish the following free title. Sometimes there are two, others are even more (like when they gave away a wide collection of Batman video games), but sometimes it stays in one. On this occasion, from that day until November 21, Epic Games Store will offer The Messenger for free.

In this Sabotage Studios game, also published by Devolver Digital, an army of demons will besiege our village. The protagonist ninja will have to fight in a cursed world in order to deliver a parchment necessary for the survival of the clan. Its two-dimensional aesthetic hides a classic platform and action game full of surprises, action and … time travel.
