Ghost of Tsushima, video analysis

A journey through the elements that stand out and those that do not in the latest work by Sucker Punch and Sony for PS4

Ghost of Tsushima is the latest Sucker Punch game for PS4, closing a generation that they practically started on the Sony console with Second Son and that after a long development process they end with a game in which it is noted that it has been invested a huge amount of time and that (except surprise) is responsible for closing this generation in terms of exclusive productions from Sony Interactive Entertainment, sharing space with the recent The Last of Us Part 2

Stunning beauty on PS4

One of the great protagonists of Tsushima is the environment, a large and open world in its proper measure so that it is not burdensome to travel through it but at the same time it has a great variety of scenarios to show us. The four seasons meet on these islands rocked by the wind and the impossible wealth of flora, added to the constant movement of the breeze in the vegetation, make the game give off life in each of its corners. Played on a PS4 Pro we are undoubtedly facing one of the most beautiful worlds of this generation, with a wide range of records and poetic beauty that turns our adventure into a constant visual delight, seasoned by a detailed photo mode that will delight virtual tourists and with whom we will get wonderful views.

Among the virtues of the Sucker Punch game is also the authenticity and love of classic samurai movies, which has its maximum expression in “Kurosawa mode”, a way of viewing the game in black and white with artifacts, giving it a air to the immortal films of the great Japanese director. The game is translated and dubbed into Spanish, of course, in competent work, but we can only surrender to the Japanese dub with the legendary Kazuya Nakai in the title role, which will make it irresistible to all One Piece fans given its historical role as Zoro Ronoa.

Although not without flaws that sets it apart from excellence, Ghost of Tsushima remains a remarkable job for the team.
