On Wednesday, September 23, 2020, patch 14.20 arrived in Fortnite. This content update belongs to Season 4 of the Fortnite Chapter 2 Battle Pass. Here are the patch notes, as well as the most important changes and news that it has brought to Fortnite Battle Royale:
Changes and fixes with Fortnite patch 14.20
Patch 14.20 also brings to Fortnite Battle Royale, as you might expect, a relatively extensive list of changes and fixes, which we have been able to verify by reading the official Fortnite Trello, from Epic Games:
General changes and fixes
- All the stickers from the Boundless set now appear within their customization options, without the need to make an additional change.
General Battle Royale Mode Changes and Fixes
- Fixed a bug where replays could not be saved on PlayStation 4.
- On the PC version, at low graphics settings, the fishing spots could not be seen. This has been fixed.
- The area of the map where the Heroes Park and the Ghost House are located could not be revealed even if we visited it. This bug has been fixed.
Creative changes and general fixes
- Grass is not removed by placing objects on it. This bug has been fixed.
- Some players are not awarded certain items when starting rounds in certain game modes. This has been fixed.
General Fortnite Mobile Fixes and Changes
- On the Nintendo Switch and Android versions, fishing spots are randomly visible and unseen. This is due to a bug that has been fixed with this patch.

Marvel’s Blade will have a skin in Fortnite
One of the new achievements added to Fortnite with patch 14.20 is “Daywalker”, whose description is “You have eliminated an opponent using a sniper rifle with Blade.” In this way, it is confirmed that Blade, a Marvel character, will arrive in Fortnite in the form of a skin.

Wolverine arrives on the island of Fortnite with patch 14.20
Wolverine, also known as Logan or Weapon-X, has arrived on the island of Fortnite Battle Royale with patch 14.20. We can find him in Afflicted Alameda in Solo, Duos and Squads modes. If we manage to kill him, he will give us his mythical weapon: Wolverine’s Claws.
The Pescao Midas is now available in Fortnite with patch 14.20
Another important novelty of patch 14.20 is that Midas fishing was enabled within the game, and it can be caught from this day. If we consume it, we will obtain legendary weapons.
