And it is that as a result of this new announcement, the theories of the fans have returned to point to a possible arrival of the Spiderverse, since the title of the next Doctor Strange solo film already points to said event: Doctor Strange and the Multiverse of Madness. Film, by the way, that will also feature the presence of Scarlet Witch after the events that occur in his next series Scarlet Witch and Vision. To all this we must add the image shared by actor Jamie Foxx (and that he immediately deleted) in which his Electro was seen arriving in New York in the presence of the three cinematic Spider-Man.
At the moment, what we do know is that Doctor Strange will return as Peter Parker’s mentor, in a similar way to Tony Stark in Spider-Man: Homecoming and Nick Fury in Spider-Man: Far From Home. With Spider-Man 3, it will be the sixth confirmed appearance of Doctor Strange in the MCU after his individual film, his cameo in Thor Ragnarok, his double participation in Avengers Infinity War and Avengers Endgame and his next film in the Multiverse of Madness. Spider-Man 3 begins filming in New York City this October.
