It's already clear that next year's fans and the games industry will be able to look forward to numerous announcements and world premieres by major publishers and indie developers. Appearances of prominent guests should also be part of the program again.
In 2019, the new opening event, gamescom: Opening Night Live, was the furious start to the gamescom week. Presenter and producer Geoff Keighley delighted over 1,500 local visitors and millions of people worldwide. More than 500,000 viewers saw the live stream simultaneously.
