Rust will arrive on Xbox One and PS4 next year; new trailer

The announcement was part of the Xbox Inside on the occasion of the X019 celebration.

Another contender of the survival genre joins the scope of desktop consoles. Rust will arrive on Xbox One and PS4 over the next year. This has been confirmed by the producer of the game, Double Eleven, as part of the Xbox Inside broadcast on the X019 festival, which we already offered our impressions in situ of titles such as Grounded, the new and surprising Obsidian Entertainment project.

The Rust crossing places us just over six years ago, when in 2013 it debuted on Steam as part of the early access program. At that time, various multiplayer titles began to take advantage of the wave of popularity that DayZ had generated. It was not until last 2018 when we learned the officiality of version 1.0, that is, the evolution of the game towards the first commercial version.

That did not mean that his support was abandoned, quite the opposite: Rust continues to improve month after month thanks to the support of the influx of players he has. Their current numbers are usually set around 50,000 concurrent users, a figure that is not negligible if we take into account the multiplayer options we have at the moment.

The announcement was accompanied by a small trailer, which you can see below:

Microsoft's seven games for 2020

It was not the only thing we could see during the past Xbox Inside. Microsoft put all the meat on the grill with the confirmation of seven games of its own for next year. To names we already knew, such as Bleeding Edge, Minecraft Dungeons and Ori and the Will of the Wisps, are added many others that still remained in the background. We refer to Flight Simulator and Wasteland 3.

There was also a surprise, especially with the comments made before by Obsidian Entertainment. Dontnod put the finishing touch next to his new narrative project, Tell Me Why. All the mentioned ones will arrive during the next 2020.
