Again, we obtain this information thanks to lucas7yoshi, a popular member of the Fortnite community who is dedicated to sharing hidden information from the game by extracting it using data mining techniques. On November 18, he posted the following on his Twitter account:
I have high hopes for Chapter 2 Season 2
API currently says this season ends on December the 12th / 13th so it'll be christmas / winter themed.

According to him – and the information he publishes is usually reliable – Season 1 of Fortnite Chapter 2 will end on December 13, 2019. Taking into account the precedents, in which Epic Games gives a week of extra time with additional challenges for All players can catch up with the game, it doesn't seem far fetched to think that Season 2 of Fortnite Chapter 2 will begin sometime between December 13 and 21.
Consider also the start date: in the middle of December, and just one or two weeks before Christmas. For this reason, it is expected that the new season has winter and / or Christmas themes.

This is not official information; Epic Games has not ruled in this regard beyond having included in the Battle Pass section of Fortnite Battle Royale an end date of the still current Season 1 of Fortnite Chapter 2.
