Microsoft announces the titles that will cease to be part of its on-demand video game service starting this March on PC and Xbox One.
As is often the case every month, Xbox Game Pass, Microsoft’s on-demand video game service for PC and Xbox One (also compatible with Xbox Series X | S), receives new titles, although it also says goodbye to others. Thus, and after last month’s farewell to games like Oxenfree or DiRT 4, this time it’s time to say goodbye to other titles like The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt or Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night, among others. This has transpired through the Microsoft mobile app, through the section “They will disappear soon.”

Thus, although the date on which these titles will cease to be available on Xbox Game Pass has not been specified, it is likely that they will leave the service on the 16th of this month, since it is in the middle of the month when the deregistration of titles in said service. On this occasion, the games selected to stop being part of the Xbox Game Pass catalog and their respective platforms are:
- Alvastia Chronicles (Xbox One and PC)
- Astrologaster (PC)
- Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night (Xbox One and PC)
- Kona (Xbox One)
- The Witcher III: Wild Hunt (Xbox One)
A total of five video games, including the adventure of Geralt of Rivia by the authors of Cyberpunk 2077 or the celebrated metroidvania by Koji Igarashi, spiritual successor to the mythical Castlevania 2D.
However, Xbox Game Pass users (whether on PC or consoles) still have a couple of weeks ahead to finish squeezing each of these video games; Of course, those who want to continue with their games after the departure of the games from the service can get them with up to a 20% discount in digital format through the Microsoft Store.
