More games are being postponed because of the Next-Gen, insiders believe

As usual at the end of the year, various titles have been postponed to next year. Others will follow, insiders believe, which above all blame the impending start of the next generation for it.

Official Xbox Magazine states that publishers will seek to reach the next generation to bring their titles to market as a cross-gen release. Especially the games scheduled to be released in and around the fiscal year change in March / April are just half a year away from the launch of the new consoles, putting them in a difficult situation. Players may hesitate to access early and wait for the next gen version, if there is one. The developers are difficult to look at in this regard in the cards.

Now the question is whether the publishers are more likely to want to sell their games twice or risk a potentially muted sales start in this generation. The next year will definitely be exciting, as numerous blockbusters have already been confirmed and many more consoles of the current generation will be in circulation as well from the next.
