The new Infinity Ward ignores the season passes and adds new game modes, maps, weapons and more.
A little over a month after its launch, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare receives Season 1, which implements a whole series of free content. Next to her, also debuts the battle pass. This opens a new business model that shuns season passes from past deliveries. The battle pass can be purchased for 1000 COD points (the equivalent of 9.99 euros) and includes a battle lot, consisting of 20 level jumps that provide the possibility of getting access to new equipment.
The first 20 are free for everyone, but the remaining 80 will only be available to those who purchase the battle pass. In any case, the rewards we get will be of two types: on the one hand, aesthetic; on the other, objects that allow us to double experience. It should be noted that it will be possible to find COD points for free, which can be used in the store and in battle pass purchases.
The content of Season 1
Game modes, new weapons, maps … this is what is already available to players completely free of charge. Multiplayer maps are largely based on old locations of Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare, the classic Infinity Ward. Classic Special Operations Experiences: in Pitch Black, we will have to access the Barkov property in order to retrieve and send certain classified information. Gounded will require us to kill the Al Qatala military who have taken over the Barkov area base, while Bomb Squad will invite us to deactivate FDI placed in the city of Urzikstan. This last experience will come later.

New Multiplayer Modes: Reinforce is a hybrid mode between Domain, Search and Destroy and Search and Rescue. We must capture points to revive the dead teammates, in order to get the highest score to win the round. Throughout Season 1, we can enjoy Infected (hunt or be hunted) and O.S.P Shooting, which implements the same traditional shooting mechanics, with the particularity that players start without weapons or equipment.

New Armament: RAM-7 is a new automatic assault rifle; the Holger-26, an LMG specification of the Holger rifle model.
