Sony's strategy with respect to the PS5 is apparently in the access, as is currently heard from industry circles. Ever since, you've been able to win over the developers and players, and so have overtaken a whole lot of hardware.
The Kotaku editor Jason Schreier is currently tweeting about the PS5 without, however, mentioning exact sources. Presumably these originate somewhere from developer circles. Accordingly, the PS5 should be as "accessible as possible", which among other things results in that there will be no load times. This topic has always been debated, but there are also doubts as to whether it is really feasible with complex games that are expected on the PS5.
A few more next-gen tidbits:
– MS has been behind Sony w / r / t communication, but that probably will not matter next case
– Whispers suggest PS5 and XB2 have similar specs (and both sound VERY powerful)
– PS5 strategy is as easy as possible (hence "no load times")– Jason Schreier (@jasonschreier) December 4, 2019
Furthermore, Schreier emphasizes that the PS5 and Xbox Scarlett will have plenty of power and are probably very similar in this respect. This is also suspected, but ultimately has to prove once the hardware is ready.
In conclusion, it says that the development phase at Microsoft should lag behind and above all the communication with the developers suffers. However, it is expected that Microsoft will catch up as soon as possible and it will play no role in the coming fall. In this course, a second Xbox version is mentioned again, which is again equipped without a disc drive and it will be slightly cheaper.
Tangible details on the PS5 and Xbox Scarlett are expected next year.
