Rumor: PS5 launch titles without cross-gene support?

Playfront

To make the launch of the PS5 possibly more successful, Sony could forgo first to cross-gene support and make PS4 games compatible at a later date.

This is currently reported by Kotaku editor Jason Schreier, who also sees a good many inconsistencies in it. This would be on the PS5 initially only the PS5 versions playable, which would probably be a manageable number and probably only affects their own Sony games. In terms of third-party games, one is not so sure, as other publishers have probably hinted that you will support all platforms equally.

At Microsoft, the whole thing looks different, which will also support all platforms from the beginning, including Xbox Scarlett, Xbox One, PC, etc. Confirmed, however, is still nothing.

Games generally playable?

Furthermore, it says that games on PS5 & Co. should be playable for a short time and then you can just quit them, comparable to Netflix and other services. As an example, one could also call EA Access, where certain games can be tried for 10 hours. With the PS5, the time should be much shorter. Whether that's really true, but is not confirmed in this case.
