The series based on the work of Andrzej Sapkowski is about to release its first season on the platform.
Eight chapters make up the first season of The Witcher, a fiction produced by Netflix that will tell the story of Geralt de Rivia, a sorcerer who fights against the monsters of the world and wields his sword to end his enemies. The production will premiere all its episodes simultaneously on December 20. To open your mouth, you can enjoy the final trailer, which we publish on these lines.
The Witcher's promotional campaign is ongoing. Recently, three of the main actors starred in a video in which they talked about their characters. Henry Cavill plays the sorcerer Geralt, while Freya Allen and Anya Chalotra do the same with Ciri and Yennefer. In the novels, everything that develops in the world is seen through Geralt's eyes, but in the series they wanted to give a different perspective.
In the first drafts they thought of Ciri as the narrator, but they soon realized that the character embodied by Henry Cavill was losing consistency. Anyway, Lauren S. Hissrich, showrunner of the series, has worked so that these two women have important roles in fiction. They are also in the novels written by Andrzej Sapkowski, who has participated in the creative development of the series as a consultant.

Positive feedback
Although nothing has been seen in the series yet, a privileged few have had the opportunity to take a look at the first episode. The information was overwhelmed, but the general opinions were very positive, especially regarding the battles and the choice of cast.
The Witcher of Netflix is not based on the Projekt Red CD video games, the authors of all the franchise titles. The developer is currently finalizing her new video game, Cyberpunk 2077, which will go on sale on April 16, 2020.
