Final Fantasy XIV – Patch 5.2 details

Square Enix revealed new details about the upcoming patch 5.2 in 'Final Fantasy XIV' today. The MMORPG is now explored by more than 18 million players.

As part of the broadcast of the 56th letter from producer LIVE, producer and director Naoki Yoshida also presented a new series of global FINAL FANTASY XIV fan festivals in 2020-2021, the upcoming FINAL FANTASY XIV: Shadowbringers Artbook and the next free login. Action.

Patch 5.2, called "Echoes of a Fallen Star", is the next major update for the award-winning Shadowbringers expansion and will offer a variety of new content:

  • New Scenario Assignments – Shadowbringers' much-vaunted story continues, in which the Warrior of Darkness and members of the Dawn Covenant continue to uncover the secrets of the first splinter world.
  • New Gear Series to Upgrade Equipment – This new line of missions will be updated regularly as of patch 5.2, allowing players to acquire new powerful gear as they learn more about the home of the Hrothgar, the Bozja Citadel.
  • New test: "The Ruby Weapon" – Players can challenge the Ruby weapon in both normal and heavy versions.
  • New orders of the "Chronicles of the New Era" – Discover the history of the new weapon series.
  • New Raid "Eden’s Verse" – The second chapter in the "Eden" Raid series will bring challenging new battles in normal and difficult execution.
  • Ishgard Reconstruction News – The next project update for collectors and artisans will introduce new diadem content exclusively for collectors, new high-level challenges for artisans, a new scoring system, and more.
  • New Orders from the Wild Tribes – The Qitari will offer new orders for collectors.
  • New Dungeon: "Anamnesis Anyder" – This new challenge can be tackled with other adventurers or with a group of NPCs thanks to the side-by-side system.
  • Changes to jobs, adjustments to PvP commands, updates for New Game +, numerous innovations for artisans and collectors and more
  • In addition, FINAL FANTASY XIV: Shadowbringer's “The Art of Reflection – Histories Forsaken-” presented the first art book, which can now be pre-ordered. Released on schedule in May 2020, this gorgeous, oversized and colorful art book will feature hundreds of pages of illustrations and will also include a bonus code that can be redeemed against the companion in the game "Dulia-Chai Doll".

An upcoming series of worldwide FINAL FANTASY XIV fan festivals in 2020-2021 has also been announced, with confirmed events in North America, Europe and Japan. Further details will be announced at a later date.
