Resident Evil 3 remake will be more action-oriented again

Capcom has confirmed that the 'Resident Evil 3 Remake' is currently in the final phase of development. At the same time, it turns the series in the youngest direction, towards an action-oriented title.

In an interview with producers Masao Kawada and Peter J. Fabiano, they said that the remake was intended to show the strength of Jill Valentine's and the fear of Nemesis more clearly. At the same time, however, care was taken not to change the image of these characters too much. The same applies to Carlos, who still has the same hot-blooded personality. Those who prefer to play with the characters' original designs are available as a pre-order DLC.

In a new episode of Capcom TV, it also says that the supporting characters in the game have been expanded considerably as part of the remake, including Dario. The Hunter will also return with a remake that has been redesigned for the newer audience.

Work on the remake is currently 90 percent complete, which is why the release in April 2020 is considered safe.
