Capcom’s silence on the next major Resident Evil expansion has not stopped fans from speculating about the latest RE 9 DLC leak, which allegedly features Ada Wong and Alyssa Ashcroft in a disturbing storyline.
The leak suggests that Ada Wong may be hiding a secret, with her face bearing signs of the “Raccoon City Syndrome”, a plot twist that could lead to one of the darkest and most emotional storylines in the game’s history.
Resident Evil Requiem DLC Leaks
The leaked screenshots, which were rapidly removed after being reposted, have sparked a heated debate among fans, with some believing the leak to be fake due to the similarity of Ada’s outfit to her Resident Evil 4 Remake appearance and the AI-generated look of the images.
However, others point out that Ada’s youthful appearance despite the timeskip could be a hint at viral mutations or bio-organic enhancements, making her one of the franchise’s most tragic characters yet.
Key Characters and Storyline
The leaked DLC reportedly includes Ada Wong, Leon S Kennedy, Chris Redfield, and Alyssa Ashcroft, with the latter’s involvement in the investigation of “The Connections” adding to the intrigue.
The timing of the leak also coincides with other story-based expansion leaks, including DLC names like Shadows of the Past, Nightmare Zone, and Nemesis Awakens.
Community Reaction and Speculation
The community is divided, with some fans believing the leak to be a complete rumor, while others speculate about the implications of Ada’s condition and the potential storyline.
As the debate rages on, one thing is certain – Ada Wong’s importance to the franchise is undeniable, and her potential storyline in the Resident Evil Requiem DLC has fans eagerly awaiting official confirmation from Capcom.
Looking Ahead
While the Resident Evil 9 DLC leak remains speculation, the discussion around Ada Wong’s character has highlighted the complexity and depth of the Resident Evil universe, leaving fans eager for more information on the upcoming expansion and the fate of their favorite characters.
