Fan Developer Releases Fully Interactive 3D GTA 6 Vice City Map
A community mapper named Robert Luxemburg has published an open‑source, full‑scale 3D reconstruction of the upcoming GTA 6 Vice City map, downloadable directly from GitHub. The project lets users navigate a low‑poly rendition of the State of Leonida’s capital, with each point of interest linked to official promotional screenshots.
Luxemburg’s work builds on the Discord‑based mapping community that has been correlating teaser images with in‑game locations such as Leonida Keys and Grassrivers. By scrolling over a location, users see the corresponding artwork, confirming the spot’s placement within the virtual city.
Interactive Flight Mode Highlights Scale Ahead of Release
The map also includes a fly‑through mode where a simple airplane model sweeps across the terrain, revealing the vastness of Vice City before Rockstar’s official launch. With GTA 6 still six months from release and pre‑orders not yet opened, the 3‑D tour offers fans a tangible preview of the game’s environment.
Take‑Two CEO Strauss Zelnick has signaled that GTA 6’s summer marketing will kick off in June 2026, aligning with events like Summer Game Fest and the Xbox Games Showcase. As Trailer 3 is expected to drop later this month, the community anticipates that additional visual cues could enable an even more accurate 1:1 recreation of the final map.
While the official title remains under wraps, the fan‑crafted 3D experience already provides a detailed glimpse of Vice City’s expanded geography, keeping the audience engaged as the countdown to release continues.
