Gold games announced for January 2019 on Xbox One

Batman: The Telltale Series and Tekken 6, among the leading titles of the Microsoft subscription service.

A few weeks before the year 2019 comes to an end, we already know what the free games with Gold will be from January 2020. The American company has announced all the titles that will be available on the service. As usual, Redmond will give away four video games in total. In this case it is Batman: The Telltale Series, Tekken 6, Styx and Lego Star Wars II: The Original Trilogy.

When can we download them?

Styx: Shards of Darkness, from Xbox One, will be available from January 1 through 31 of that same month. On the other hand, also for the current Microsoft console, Batman: The Telltale Series can be downloaded from the first day of the new year, although it will stop being free later, on February 15. The title comes just when Telltale Games has returned with a new DLC for Batman, as well as the sequel to The Wolf Among Us. The developer broke and left all workers on the street, but it was refounded and is already working on new projects.

Tekken 6, from Xbox 360, will become part of the library of anyone who is subscribed to Xbox Live Gold and download the game between January 1 and 15. Just when the title of Bandai Namco disappears, we can access Lego Star Wars II: Original Trilogy, which, as its name indicates, is based on the first three films of the galactic saga. Of course, with his humorous touch.

Microsoft is immersed in the development of its new platform. The console, known as Xbox Series X, anticipates the arrival of new systems in the future, as confirmed by the company itself in a statement. All Xbox One games will work on the console from launch day, which will take place at the end of 2020.
