Andrzej Sapkowski, writer of the books, and the Polish studio sign a new agreement that gives CD Projekt full control of the franchise.

The same day that The Witcher's series, starring Henry Cavill, arrives on Netflix, CD Projekt has announced a new deal with Andrzej Sapkowski, the writer of the Sorcerer's novels. Under this new contract, the Polish studio has full control over the future of the saga in terms of video games, graphic novels, board games and merchandising.
