A new trailer and gameplay for Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot show Buu, Trunks and more

Dragon Bal Z: Kakarot is shown in the latest Jump Festa through a new trailer and gameplay. Trunks, Buu and Mecha Freezer star in the material.

The recent Jump Festa has left us with several of the latest news around the Japanese factory. After learning about the adaptation of Dragon Quest, The Adventure of Dai, it is now Bandai Namco's turn with one of the great titles that will open next year's launch period, Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot.

In its trailer, the company focuses on Buu's story arc, of which we recently learned news. Some of the scenes are unpublished, as you can see below thanks to YouTube user GamersPrey:

On the other hand, there is also room to see how the game unfolds live. The demo chosen focuses on the figure of Trunks, who fights Mecha Frieza. Almost nothing. After the fight we can see a new exploration area completely snowed. The variety will be served.

Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot will arrive on June 17 on PS4, Xbox One and PC.

The Adventure of Dai is back

As we said at the beginning of the news, Square Enix has announced a new project within the same framework based on Dragon Quest: The Adventure of Dai, the famous weekly manga published from 1989 to 1996, whose sales reached more than 47 million copies. No less than 23 years have passed.

As far as we are concerned, we know that Ryutaro Ichimura is in production, who has already worked in the same position in other installments such as Dragon Quest: The World Tree's Woe and the Blight Below, Dragon Quest IX: Sentries of the Firmament and Dragon Quest VIII: The journey of the Cursed King, among others. It is part of the internal developments of the Japanese company itself. Alongside the news in the video game, Toei Animation also revealed the development of a new anime of the brand that will arrive at some point in the final stretch of 2020.

At the moment the platforms to which it will arrive are unknown, if it is intended for mobile, desktop systems or both, as well as its launch framework.
