The success of 'Dying Light' could hardly be greater for developers Techland, which has currently reached a new milestone.

The zombie survival title now counts 17 million players, as you can read in the Official Xbox Magazine. It is not clear whether this corresponds to the units sold in the game. Most recently, these were 13 million copies sold, which may well have found more than one player.

Game designer Tymon SmektaƂa comments on the current milestone:

"The first Dying Light was a huge success for Techland and was played by over 17 million players."

Techland, meanwhile, is working hard on the successor Dying Light 2, which will be released in spring 2020. A similar, if not even greater, success is likely to occur here. There are also impressions of part 2 in our gamescom preview.
