Senua's Saga: Hellblade 2 will be exclusive to PC and Xbox

The Ninja Theory saga, whose first installment was released on PS4, will be exclusive to Microsoft from now on, for PC and the new console, Xbox Series X.

Aaron Greenberg has confirmed through his social networks that the return of Senua will be exclusive to PC and Xbox. The game was announced during The Game Awards 2019, where it showed a first trailer at the end of which appeared the logo of the new Microsoft console, Xbox Series X, the only platform confirmed to date. Greenberg's words add the PC version to the equation and completely rule out that the saga continues on PS4 or PS5 despite the first installment if it saw the light on Sony's console. A decision that was expected after the purchase of Ninja Theory by those of Redmond.

The truth is that, given the reception of the trailer of Senua's Saga: Hellblade 2, it seems that the game will be an exclusive weight. The video already has more than one million views on YouTube, more than thirty thousand likes and 98% approval. In other words, it has more reproductions and better feedback than all the trailers shown by Microsoft at E3 2019 (with the honorable exception of Halo: Infinite). In addition, the song that plays in the background in the trailer, LIFA, belongs to the music group Heilung, which will make the soundtrack. His particular style seems to fit perfectly with Senua and contains letters taken from antiquity, spectral voices, all kinds of dark sound environments and shamanic rhythms. In fact, Heilung is known for a ritual performance that they performed at Castlefest 2017, whose staging could go through a level of the game.

Available on Xbox Game Pass

The title will arrive at the Microsoft subscription service, where the first one, Hellblade: Senua's Sacrifice, is now available. An adventure that not only has graphics and a soundtrack that enter through the eyes and ears, but also has a wonderful plot and setting in which to get lost. The work of Ninja Theory is based on Celtic culture and Norse mythology, and proposes us to travel to the world of the dead of the latter, to Helheim, to bring back to life the beloved of our protagonist, who has been murdered. A trip full of fighting, puzzles and places that take away the hiccups. Dressed with an ingenious mechanics of deaths (permadeath) and with a representation of schizophrenia and psychosis with a great work of documentation behind, the original won 4 BAFTAS and dozens of prizes, reaching 9 in the FreeGameTips Reviews and becoming a title that you should take from your list of earrings as soon as possible.
