Van Langendonck, who secured the 2023 World Junior Karting title and captured pole and victory in his debut British Formula 4 round, will now receive “additional support and guidance” from Verstappen’s management and simulators while staying within McLaren’s development pipeline.
The partnership fortifies links between Verstappen, the Red Bull champion, and the Woking‑based team, with the rider’s focus directed straight at Formula 1 as the culminating goal. “I am impressed by the steep progress Dries has made,” the Dutch star remarked, emphasizing the talent visible in both karting and Open‑Series stepping.
