The studio, which achieved the feat of bringing Geralt and its two expansions to Nintendo Switch, prepares new adaptations and games for the console.

For many it is one of the most ambitious ports of recent years. We talked about The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt – Complete Edition for Nintendo Switch, a technical feat that managed to put both the Projekt CD game and its two expansions into a single cartridge on the Nintendo platform. Despite its dynamic resolution and its 500p in portable mode, the title "still looks amazing" for many of its fans and can now be played anywhere thanks to this version, in charge of which Saber Interactive has been. Although many are not aware of the merit of the latter and award the port to the famous Polish studio (CD Projekt RED), the magnificent work of Saber Interactive does not seem to have gone unnoticed among the professionals of the guild, who have loaded work and proposals to the company.

This was confirmed by Tim Willits, creative director of Saber Interactive and former co-owner and director of id Software, who has recognized in an interview GameReactor teammates who are working on the arrival of even more games to Nintendo Switch. "We can't announce anything right now, but we love Switch as a platform and we are developing and working on new games for it, although we still can't say what they are," said Willits. The only project of the study that has been confirmed for now is Killing Floor 2, where it collaborates in its versions and updates with Tripwire Interactive, but it seems that very soon more names will come to the fore.

Trustworthy

In fact, although it has been the portable version of The Witcher 3 that has claimed the attention of the industry, Saber Interactive has spent a good number of years behind it specializing in ports and remasters, having developed those of Vampyr, Call of Cthulhu: The Official Video Game and Ghostbusters: The Video Game Remastered. And far from complying with that, the developer has also launched into the pool with her own projects, among which NBA 2K Playgrounds 2 and World War Z have stood out. The studio is booming and has become a safe bet, a of the most coveted trusted partners in the sector right now.
