Spire Motorsports has unveiled dual tribute paint schemes for Kyle Busch ahead of the Craftsman Truck Series race at Charlotte Motor Speedway.
Dual Tribute Livery Revealed
The No. 7 Chevrolet Silverado, driven by Connor Mosack and sponsored by PurePex, will adopt the black‑and‑red scheme Kyle Busch used to secure the team’s 100th and final victory. Mosack will also run the same livery that Kyle used in a Zazir Transport–sponsored truck to win the No. 51 race at Pocono in 2023.
The No. 77 Silverado, piloted by Rajah Caruth and backed by Firstline and Chevrolet, will feature the bright yellow‑and‑black color block that recalls the Dollar General scheme Kyle raced to KBM’s inaugural win at Nashville in 2010.
Spire’s Roots in Kyle Busch Motorsports
After acquiring the assets of Kyle Busch Motorsports at the end of 2023, Spire has retained many former KBM employees, preserving the team’s core expertise. The 234th and final NASCAR victory, earned in a Spire Truck at Dover just days before Kyle’s sudden passing at 41, underscores the deep connection between the driver and the current program.
Kyle Busch’s Winning Legacy
Between 2010 and 2023, Kyle Busch personally secured 48 of the 100 Truck Series victories earned by the team that evolved into Spire. The upcoming race at Charlotte marks the first weekend the series returns after his death, adding a poignant context to these tribute schemes.
Charlotte Calls for a Full‑Throttle Tribute
As the green flag drops, the black‑and‑red and yellow‑and‑black livers will be more than color statements—they’ll be a rallying call for the field.
