Lewis Hamilton said the single day he most wishes he could replay is a quiet mountain walk he took with his bulldogs during the pandemic.
A Moment Apart From the Grid
In a recent social‑media clip, the 41‑year‑old Ferrari driver was asked to name one day he would relive. He dismissed grand‑prix highlights and spoke instead of a five‑day retreat with Roscoe and Coco.
Hamilton recalled walking the alpine trails with the two dogs, “just us three,” and singled out one particular day as “super, super fun.” He added that this memory occurs near the end of the COVID restrictions.
The Loss of Two Favourites
Coco died in June 2020, shortly after lockdown measures relaxed. Roscoe survived the first half of the pandemic but passed away in September 2025.
Following Roscoe’s death, Hamilton posted an Instagram tribute on its first anniversary: he called the bulldog “my best friend” and noted that thinking of him and Coco keeps him grateful for the time they shared.
Beyond the Championship
Hamilton’s comment underscores how, amid record‑breaking victories, personal moments still resonate most strongly, offering a quiet counterpoint to the roar of the track.
