Take Two: Rockstar should release more games in the future

Playfront

Rockstar can currently only be expected to play a new game every jubilee year, even if they are supported very successfully and for a long time. GTA V, for example, is still one of the games that continues to sell excellently and generates a lot of sales via GTA Online. Nevertheless, the parent company Take Two is now pushing for Rockstar to release more games.

At least that is what the rock star insider SWEGTA claims, according to which the release cycles should continue to increase. Should Rockstar comply with this, it is assumed that smaller brands such as Bully, Midnight Club or Manhunt will again have greater chances of a new game.

Whether this is really the case, as SWEGTA claims, cannot currently be checked. Ultimately, pushing developers like this isn't always the best strategy, even though Rockstar is actually an exception when it comes to new games. Often the quality suffers and brands wear out unnecessarily.
