Magic's free-to-play card game also opens a new card set, Theros Beyond Death, which will also be published in physical format.
Wizards of the Coast has announced the release of Magic: The Gathered Arena in the Epic Games Store. The free-to-play title based on the popular card game is now available for free at the Fortnite creators' store. In addition, it has also been revealed that the new card set, Theros Beyond Death, has been added to the video game. They present it through a cinematic trailer that you can see on these lines. At the same time, they communicate that the dashboard version will be released on January 24.
To download the video game in Epic Games Store, just log in with the store account and click on the title page. Then press "get" to add Magic: TGA to your library. Since then you will have the possibility to compete against other players and demonstrate your skills to the cards.
These are their game modes
- Magic: The Gathered Arena transfers the entire board game experience to the PC in a video game that has several different game modes:
- Game with Bot: this is a way to test skills and decks against Sparky, an artificial intelligence that will help us learn how to play.
- Standard Game: In this non-competitive mode you can experiment with the most novice users, try the strategies, etc.
- Competitive Game: play against other players and make your way to qualify for the most important tournaments in the world. The system is designed so that both opponents have a similar skill level.
- All Play Modes: for those looking for more challenges. “Turn off the Play Arena Modes button in the upper right of your screen to unlock all the modes played in MTG Arena,” which includes the best of three mode.
- Draft & Sealed: You receive a limited number of cards with the idea that you build the deck. In Sealed you open six packs to form the deck; In Draft, however, you open three packs and take a card for the deck each time. It is a very replayable way.
In addition to Magic: The Gathered Arena, there are other card titles on the market, including Hearthstone, from Blizzard Entertainment, and Gwent, the Witcher's card game. Legends of Runeterra, the bet of Riot Games, will start its open beta on January 24. It is already confirmed that the entire progression will be transferred to the final version.
