According to the author himself, he did not get too involved. This is how he recognizes it in an interview with Gizmondo i9:

By the way, I don't like to work at all. ” The writer admits that when he was contacted at first he was reluctant to participate. "A lot of people have contacted me, generally not very serious, so I practically lost hope and it was hard to persuade me when a new offer suddenly appeared." However, in this particular case, the people liked it, while the proposal seemed attractive from the business point of view. "I had every reason to react positively."

When asked about video games, he argues that he cannot compare the series with the work of CD Projekt RED. The reason? "I've never played any." According to the creative, since he was little he did not enjoy games, "with the possible exception of bridge and poker." He prefers books as entertainment, although beyond that, his opinion is that both products cannot be compared. “They are too different in approach, accomplishment and objectives. You can't compare spaghetti carbonara with a bicycle, even when both have advantages and disadvantages. ”
Sapkowski stands as a defender of the "freedom of the artist and his artistic expression". He explains that he does not usually interfere and that he does not "impose" his views. “I do not insist or fight for anything.
