AVerMedia launches 4K Live Streamer CAM 513, a webcam for streamers

The device includes its corresponding software, the CamEngine v3 program with AI technology.

AVerMedia has announced the Live Streamer CAM 513 webcam, a successor to the 4K UHD Webcam 510, also designed for content creators. This device maintains the features of its predecessor, with the difference that it offers ultra-sharp 4K images, a 94-degree wide-angle lens and a privacy shutter.

The camera also incorporates a premium Sony Exmor R 4K sensor and F2.8 aperture, which provide sharper and clearer images, while the 94-degree ultra-wide-angle lens expands the fields of view and capture. For this occasion, AVerMedia has opted for a different design, with a horizontal cylindrical shape that they qualify as “more elegant” and 360 degree rotation, so that creators can easily change the angle to shoot. It has been created to make installation on monitors and laptops as easy as possible.

The Live Streamer CAM 513 is Plug & Play and compatible with software such as OBS, RECentral and Streamlab OBS, among others. In combination with AVerMedia’s CamEngine software, this webcam also offers ePTZ, auto-pan, and noise cancellation. You can record videos in ultra high definition quality without a 4K camera.

Main features

  • Crystal clear 4K picture quality
  • 94 degree ultra wide angle
  • Plug & Play
  • Privacy shutter
  • 360 ° swivel angle
  • Compatible with RECentral, Streamlab OBS and OBS, among others.

The Live Streamer CAM camera also includes AverMedia’s own software, CanEngine, which has been updated to version 3.0. It allows users to “adjust image settings and add filters and effects.” In its latest version for this webcam, the developers have implemented an AI-powered motion tracking feature. In this way, the speaker can be tracked and the focus adjusted automatically to ensure the quality of the framing.
