At a recent preview event for ‘DOOM Eternal’ by Bethesda and id Software, in addition to new gameplay impressions, there was also some information about the game.
Among other things, executive producer Marty Stratton discussed the season, which almost doubled compared to DOOM from 2016. Roughly estimated, one is employed here for at least 22 hours, but can also invest up to 40 hours depending on the gameplay style and level of difficulty.
In doing so, they deliberately avoided that everything just kept repeating, but kept things exciting until the end, and that new challenges, secrets and surprises kept coming up later.
The story itself in DOOM Eternal has a lot more weight this time than in the games before. Although this is still largely under lock and key, it promises, among other things, that one will learn more about the origins of the Slayer.
DOOM Eternal will be released this March.
