Although the two previous titles have seen the light in the hybrid of Kyoto, the Japanese confirm that the game will only be released on PS4, Xbox One and PC.
It's not that companies often skip official channels when announcing news about their games; Nor do they usually confirm or deny rumors easily. That Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot was announced from the beginning for Xbox One, PS4 and PC has not prevented many people wondering whether or not it will be released on Nintendo Switch. For now, Bandai Namco remains in its thirteen and reaffirms it: only on confirmed platforms.
AltChar has contacted the Japanese company and asked if it has plans to launch the title on Nintendo Switch. Given that both Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 and Dragon Ball FighterZ had their own portable version (and that they reached the console of Kyoto later than the other versions), it is not surprising that this rumor flutters one day yes and another as well. However, Bandai Namco has explained that he has no intention of producing the game on Nintendo Switch.

Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot is scheduled for January 17. It will be marketed in different editions, among which is a Collector's Edition that includes a Goku figure mounted on the Kinton cloud.
