Paradox Interactive and Romero Games announced today that the release of their upcoming strategy title 'Empire of Sin' has been postponed from spring to autumn 2020.
Ebba Ljungerud, CEO at Paradox Interactive and Brenda Romero from Romero Games explain the change:
“Together with our partners at Romero Games, we at Paradox Interactive have an ambitious vision for Empire of Sin. That is why we decided that we need more development time, ”says Ebba Ljungerud, CEO at Paradox. "This allows us to deliver a game that our community deserves and that meets our standards."
“The challenge of developing a game like no one before is just that – developing a game like no one has ever done before. It takes time to do everything right and it gives us some unique opportunities. I am grateful that we now have additional time to fine-tune the game, ”says Brenda Romero from Romero Games. “The support and enthusiasm of our community for Empire of Sin is simply incredible. We hope that when the players are on the road in the Chicago we created, they will be convinced that it was worth the wait! ”
Empire of Sin takes gamers to the heart of Chicago's prohibition era and presents the glamor and glamor of the roaring 20s through the eyes of the organized crime syndicate. It is up to the players to pull the strings, control the gears and dominate the neighborhood.
