Final Fantasy VII Remake announces a new picture book

The Japanese company already sells it in its official store, as well as on Amazon, although at the moment there is no edition translated into Spanish.

Final Fantasy VII Remake: World Preview is the new illustrated book based on the long-awaited video game. Square Enix has opened the reservations in its official store and has already made available to its customers the possibility of obtaining it through other stores, such as Amazon. It is a hardcover volume that has 128 pages in full color. "This volume provides both players and older fans with essential character information, locations, gameplay, and more, as well as feedback from producer Yoshinori Kitase and director Tetsuya Nomura."

The book will be available from September 8, both in physical and digital formats. Of course, at the moment the only version confirmed outside Japan is the English edition. If you access the Spanish store, it does not appear in the register. The North American, on the other hand, includes it in its catalog at a price of 24.99 dollars (about 22 euros in exchange).

The secrets of Final Fantasy VII Remake

Developing this new version has not been just a matter of modifying the graphics, but has involved changes at all levels. The studio has touched the gameplay and expanded the story. Do not forget that this first installment only offers the Midgar portion, which the classic lasted just a few hours. This being the case, the company has completely transformed the experience into a reinterpretation of the events narrated in the 1997 play. The developers reflect on this and much more in Inside Final Fantasy VII Remake, the documentary that explores the entire creative process and whose Most recent episode focuses on soundtrack and sound.

Final Fantasy VII Remake will go on sale on April 10 on PS4, although some players have already received the game in physical format, since Square Enix decided to ship the units in advance due to the coronavirus.
