Square Enix has no plans to release the digital version of ‘Final Fantasy VII Remake’ earlier on the PlayStation Store. Buyers therefore have to be patient.
Although you know that the retail version is already in circulation and that you have preferred the pre-load, you still stick to the official release date on April 10, 2020, as the publisher now explicitly points out again.
“While we understand the frustration that the game will be available for sale in some regions, most of our deliveries to retailers around the world are still scheduled to hit stores on April 10th. Changing the digital release date at this point can also cause logistical problems that could disrupt the digital launch for everyone. Therefore, we will stick to a digital release date on April 10th. Thanks for your understanding.”
Previously, EB Games Australia had arbitrarily decided to release Final Fantasy VII Remake over 10 days before the official release. Here you simply take advantage of Square Enix’s precautionary planning, which the game previously delivered due to the corona pandemic. It is not known whether this has any consequences for EB Games.
In this country, Final Fantasy VII Remake will be released on April 10, 2020 as usual.
