In April you can finally look forward to the remake of ‘Final Fantasy VII’, whose development goes beyond what you are used to from new editions. In this respect, Square Enix is extremely enthusiastic about it.
For example, producer Yoshinori Kitase spoke about the remake in the current edition of Official PlayStation Magazine, whose expectations were even exceeded – especially against the background that a mix of previous and new developers worked on it.
“As a result, the game that is about to be born even exceeds my own expectations as the one who expressed the desire to do it in the first place. In fact, I could be the one most looking forward to playing this game right now. ”
Co-Director Motomu Toriyama also has praising words about the remake:
"The thoughts and feelings that I had when I started were revived, and at the same time I took on the challenge of new expressions that I can now do because I have the experience."
Toriyama particularly highlights the fact that things are possible on the PS4 that would never have been possible on the PSone and PS3 at the time.
The Final Fantasy VII remake will be released on April 11, 2020.
