The Ubisoft Paris game was to receive this new update in June, but the situation caused by the coronavirus has forced it to be delayed.
It was one of the pending tasks, but Ubisoft will fulfill its promise next July. Ghost Recon Breakpoint will add companions controlled by artificial intelligence, a functionality that was present in the previous installment of the saga, Ghost Recon Wildlands, but that did not arrive in time for its launch in this new chapter. Already in previous events, the French company confirmed that they were working on it for the future.
It has been announced in a new entry on the official website of the video game, where it has also been recalled that this patch was originally planned for the month of June. “In the developer update we released in late April 2020, we shared that we were planning to release our next patch in June 2020,” it begins. “After studying it and given that our developers are working from home, we have decided to convert this patch into a more extensive update, TU 2.1.0, which will arrive in mid-July.
In addition to AI-powered teammates, version 2.1.0 will implement improvements in product quality of life, bug fixes, a PvP mode update, new weapon customization, and much more.

A complicated debut
Ghost Recon Breakpoint has been available on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC since last year 2019. Later, it also saw the light on Google Stadia. However, the premiere of the product has not been the dream, because in addition to the bugs, the title did not win the press or the players. Far from throwing in the towel, the French company asked the fans for the feedback and began the reconstruction of the video game. Thanks to the options provided by the Ghost Experience, one of the great novelties that were developed later, players can adapt the gaming experience to their tastes.
