343 Industries announces that the remastering of the original installment of the saga is now available on Steam, Microsoft Store and Xbox Game Pass PC.
Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary, the remastering of the original delivery prepared by 343 Industries as part of the Master Chief Collection for PC, is now available for the final collection of the Master Chief in compatible through Steam, Microsoft Store and Xbox Game Pass for PC. This has been announced by those responsible through an unexpected confirmation, also sharing the new trailer that tops this news.
Dual launch experience event
Thus, and through a new publication in the official Halo Waypoint blog, those responsible for the title offer all the details of this new version of the original Halo; and is that as it happens in the Anniversary version of Xbox 360, this remastering offers improved graphics (more than ever in this new version) together with the possibility of switching between the original and new graphics at any time, along with new features such as 4K resolution and 60 fps or more, depending on equipment.
Although this new update brings with it more novelties such as switching between the original and remastered audio tracks, keyboard and mouse support, possibility to fully configure the control, adjustable field of view, ultra-panoramic resolutions, variable refresh rate, text chat and a new three-dimensional interface, among many other unpublished functions.
And to celebrate the news, from 343 Industries a special event has been announced until March 9 in which to obtain twice the experience in multiplayer mode, with game variants of 1v1, 2v2, 4v4 and 8v8. A small update has also been announced for the matchmaking of the recent Halo: Reach for PC.
According to those responsible, the next step will be a new patch for the Master Chief Collection on Xbox One and the launch of Halo 2: Anniversary on PC.
