The protagonist of the series The Witcher talks about his vision of the sorcerer, his future as Superman in the cinema and shares his opinion on the famous Snyder Cut.
Henry Cavill, the famous actor who will soon play Geralt de Rivia in the new television series The Witcher, has talked about his vision of the sorcerer in the imminent adaptation of Netflix, in addition to sharing his future as Superman in the cinema and his opinion on the controversial Snyder Cut of Justice League. This has been shared in a recent interview with journalist Kevin McCarthy in full promotion of his new series for Netflix.
Links between superheroes and the sorcerer
Thus, when asked about a possible link between Geralt de Rivia and Superman (his two most famous roles), the actor has not hesitated to find parallels between them, even adding Batman to the formula. "There are strong similarities," he says. “Geralt de Rivia is almost like a mixture of Superman and Batman. He's bigger, stronger, faster … but he's also exceptionally good as a detective, ”concludes Cavill.
“I have not seen any Snyder cut.”

On the other hand, and about the opinion of the fans about their vision of The Witcher and those who are not satisfied with the adaptation, “it is a right of the fans to have any opinion they want to have. And people are going to get angry, especially when talking about comics or games, because you're never going to be the exact person they had in the head, or who played The Witcher 3, for example. I do not necessarily consider it toxic, I only consider it passionate, ”adds the actor.
On his future as a Superman in the cinema and the famous Snyder Cut of Justice League, Cavill adds: “I haven't seen any Snyder Cut, I don't know if there is Snyder Cut. I am sure there is material that has probably been rebuilt over the years. I am always interested in seeing results, but it is a chapter of my past, I prefer to talk about what will happen in the future. I would like to talk about what will happen in the future of Superman and how I can express that character of the cartoons, something that naturally connects with The Man of Steel, which is a movie that I really like and I would like to be able to tell the story where we left her at that moment, ”he concludes.
