Inside presents its $ 375 collector's edition

The Playdead game collaborates with iam8bit in a special edition that has two spectacular figures created by Realdoll, a sex toy company.

We knew that the creators of Limbo, the boys of Playdead, were working for some time on a collector's edition of Inside that was priced at $ 375, but it has not been until this week that we have been able to take a look at its contents late. Made in collaboration with iam8bit, a store specializing in special editions, the collector's edition of the game will include a design box in which we will find a copy of Inside for PlayStation 4, Inside and Limbo codes for Steam, a set of postcards with various concept art and, finally, two spectacular figures created by Realdoll, a sex toy company that has experience in creating parts of the human body and realistic-looking meat objects, as the making of them shows:

This edition has already been sent to its buyers and is expected to reach them in the coming days. All units sold out shortly after announcing, back in March 2018, and even before their contents were announced. A usual procedure with iam8bit, whose products have a very limited number of units and require a small vacuum jump with the quality of previous ones as a guarantee. However, there may still be hope for those interested. The store has opened a waiting list in which you can register here and which they will throw in case there are any remaining cancellations or surpluses, something they will look at as of February 2020.

What is next to Playdead?

Inside and Limbo have become two of the most important indies games of the last decade. Its artistic value, the way of telling the story and even the puzzles have a very inspired design that contains its own message. This is demonstrated by Inside 9.5 on FreeGameTips, which sets the bar very high for the next Playdead work. A game that has already revealed the first details, as it will have sci-fi theme and that will be even more ambitious than the previous ones, with more than 40 people working on it. In addition, Arnt Jensen, founder of the studio and director of all his titles, has dropped on more than one occasion that he is “tired of the limitations of 2D games” and intends to carry out “a third-party game” with zones and "more open and much higher" levels. We'll see if it complies. At the moment there is nothing left but to rub hands and patience. Between Limbo (2010) and Inside (2016) there were more than six years, and seen the excellent results of both, it seems that no one is going to advise pressing the accelerator.
