Game developer Jonathan Blow, who is known for 'The Witness' among other things, has recently commented on the PS5 and next gen in general, who, like many others, is visibly enthusiastic about it.
In a Twitch stream, there was an interesting comment from Blow, in which you have to read a bit between the lines. While he clearly describes the PS5 as "damn good", he is [only] looking forward to "some" consoles. If you interpret this correctly, it excludes at least one piece of hardware. It is unclear whether he means the new Xbox explicitly, although there are not so many options at the moment where one can speak of a next-gen console.
"I'm excited about some next generation consoles, let's put it that way. The PS5 is pretty darn good. ”
Whether Blow already refers to technical aspects of the next generation can only be guessed at. Or maybe he just prefers the PS5 to the new Xbox.
Nevertheless, this should further fuel the discussions about the PS5 and Xbox, after there has only recently been speculation about the performance of the two consoles, according to which the Xbox should be around a third stronger from the perspective of pure computing power. This is not proven, however, as no final specifications have yet been published.
