Marvel's Avengers will allow the campaign to be replayed from the beginning

The title of The Avengers, which tries to recover lost players, will be updated on March 18.

Things have gotten tough for Marvel’s Avengers, Crystal Dynamics’ ambitious title based on the popular superhero license. Square Enix’s production continues to receive patches to add new features and balance some aspects of its gameplay and progression. One of the novelties that will arrive from March 18 will be the Campaign Replay functionality, which will allow you to enjoy the campaign once again from the beginning.

“Since each of you experienced the campaign at launch, we have heard you asking about the possibility of repeating this trip again,” they comment on the official website. “We are honored by your love and support for Kamala and our original Avengers story.” In his words, they have been “working hard” from the first moment, work that has paid off and that has led to this update.

How does it work?

This option allows you to repeat the campaign from the beginning. It works by restarting the campaign progress from the beginning, which means that you will have to pick up the story from the first mission. Although the data about the campaign will go back to the beginning, the player’s progression will not be affected, nor will the collectibles you have obtained up to that point.

When available, players will find the option in the menu. Of course, an informational notice will appear on the screen to explain what will and will not restart. It is possible to do it as many times as you want. What does not seem possible is to choose a particular mission to repeat to the player’s taste.

Custom Harm rooms will also be added in which the user will have the opportunity to experiment with combat and apply different variables such as the type of enemies, the number of them, the different environments, difficulty, etc.

Marvel’s Avengers is available on PS4, Xbox One, PC, and Google Stadia. The version optimized for PS5, Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S will be made available to players on March 18.
