The fighting game will incorporate this fun option for free for all versions, regardless of Aftermath
On May 26, Aftermath, the Mortal Kombat XI expansion, will appear, adding new characters and a new campaign to the successful fighting game. It is a paid content, but that does not mean that regular players are going to leave empty; Among the updates that will arrive that day for all players will be the Friendships, the final alternative movement to the Fatalities that will close the combat in a nice and even fun way among the brutal fighters.
Yes, Mileena is in Kitana's Friendship. No, Mileena is not playable. #MKAftermath pic.twitter.com/XMx9HKnGAB

Free for all players
If at the end of the combat we execute a Friendship, the character will do some nice action to demonstrate his friendship with the opponent and end the combat on a positive note. Terminator will prance on his motorcycle, Raiden will create a tiny version of himself, Scorpion will hook a giant teddy bear with his hook. Liu Kang will dance disco music like he has since his first time and things like that. In particular, for reasons of lore, Kitana's Friendship stands out, in which her sister / clone Mileena intervenes to share a beautiful brotherly moment (it is remarkable because Mileena is not a playable character in Mortal Kombat XI).
The "Friendship" were born in the second part as a joke by the Ed Boon team in Midway at the expense of the controversy caused by the first game and its Fatalities, which created a great storm among the general press and led to some complicated situations such as Nintendo censoring the fighting game version for Super Nintendo (much to the delight of Mega Drive users) but they got so much attention that they became regulars for a few years, until they ended up disappearing after Mortal Kombat 4 when the series tried to look a more serious and dark approach. His return is another welcome wink that fans of the saga with more years will surely appreciate.
