The PlayStation Network (PSN) is struggling with worldwide interference during these hours, and the most serious problems have already been resolved.
Overnight, the number of users increased that the network is not running optimally, also when it comes to multiplayer sessions. This is also confirmed by Sony, who have already solved the problems with the multi-player connections.
Various services are currently affected, to which Sony writes:
“You may have difficulty launching games, applications, or online features. Our developers are working to resolve the issue as soon as possible, and we appreciate your patience. ”
As usual, there is an overview of the current PSN status on the official support page. Those who complain about slow downloads in the PSN are currently normal because Sony has limited the download bandwidth for all users due to the currently emerging data traffic during the Corona pandemic. It is not known how long this restriction should apply.
