Capcom has confirmed that the development of 'Resident Evil 3 Remake' is almost complete and the release can be met this spring. This means that the new edition appears earlier than some would have expected.
At the same time, Capcom has dealt with the changes that have been implemented for the remake in the current issue of Famitsu. So the story still largely corresponds to the original, but there were also a few additions. This also allows fans of that time to discover something new.
Brad Vickers, whom you met with Jill at the Black Jack Bar, is one example. He was afraid of something and ran like crazy through Raccoon City. In the remake, your role will be presented somewhat differently, in which surviving S.T.A.R.S. members will play a role.
The central theme of Resident Evil 3 is 'escape' and the fear of the zombies. This part will be geared more towards action, while maintaining the resident evil feeling. There is also no connection to the multiplayer part Resident Evil Resistance and both are independent games.
About Resident Evil 3
Resident Evil 3 takes place amid the uncontrolled outbreak of T-Virus, a biological weapon developed by the pharmaceutical company Umbrella Corporation. The game is also the debut of Nemesis – a giant, humanoid bio-weapon notorious for its brutality and sophisticated intelligence, which has become an icon of the Resident Evil series by hunting for S.T.A.R.S.member Jill Valentine. Armed with an arsenal of powerful weapons and clad in a black coat that hides his mutations, nothing and no one can stop the Nemesis from standing in his way.
Resident Evil 3 will be released on April 3, 2020.
